Nice Review. Do you recommend cryotherapy post workouts?

Not really proven to do much yet; most evidence based recovery modality is an ice bath for 10 minutes

Thank you for the post. Is there a role for light yoga and/or water-based exercises on "off workout days" to improve soreness?

You're welcome. Light yoga and/or water based exercises would be considered dynamic or active recovery which are both proven to be more helpful with recovery
